The Festival of Marketing at Tobacco Dock is a 2-day annual summit, where over 4,000 marketing professionals gather to hear industry thought-leaders speak on all disciplines across the marketing spectrum. Along with 12 seminar rooms and a keynote theatre, the event also provides space for over 50 exhibitors, each occupying a custom-made exhibition pod or offering guests some deeper brand engagement in one of 18 experience rooms. FOM also hosts The Master’s of Marketing Awards, with ceremonies taking place at intervals throughout both days.
For two years now, Designscene has been brought onboard to conceptualise and produce all aspects of the event including stage, design, production, AV, large-format graphic design and printing, way-finding, video production, interior design and stage management, as well as building and curating an internal television channel.
Delivering on such scale, in a huge and complex venue such as Tobacco Dock, required the team to rise to many intriguing and rewarding challenges.
The key to the success of these events, was delivering a consistent and meaningful design language that ran through each of the diverse spaces and installations, while at the same time, allowing the sponsors the space to express their brand’s personalities.
